Introduction

A classical pianist and music educator, has studied the piano for over 20 years and worked in the field of music education for many years. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Education with Honors from the University of Toronto in Canada and a Master of Arts in Music degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. During her study, she has studied with renown pianists including Nancy Loo, Boyanna Toyich, and Emily Chiang.

Yvonne is a certified level 1 Kodaly educator acknowledged by the Kodaly Society of Canada. She is particularly experienced in working with young individuals. She caters for different individual needs and actively incorporate various pedagogical methods including Kodaly, Orff, and Dalcroze in her teaching.

As a versatile musician and educator, Yvonne actively participated in many other related disciplines such as conducting, choral singing, song writing, and dancing. She strives to use her expertise to establish a holistic approach towards early music education and create an immersive learning experience for all her young students.
