Ms. Jennifer Moberg Pforte Biography
Jennifer began her musical journey as a Suzuki kid, studying violin under John Klein, with further studies with Caonex Camilo-Peguero and Chang Guo. She then pursued a BA in Music from Houghton University. Jennifer did her Suzuki teacher training and apprenticeship at the Hartt School of Music with Teri Einfeldt, and additional training with Carrie Reunning, Ronda Cole, Ed Kreitman, Gail Johansen, and Lan Ku Chen. She taught at various Suzuki institutions, including Hartt Community Music School, Suzuki Music School of Westport, and Talent Education Suzuki School.

In 2006, Jennifer founded the KinderU Suzuki Music Academy, the first Suzuki school in Hong Kong and China. KSMA offered instruction in violin, viola, cello, piano, and early childhood music, as well as an integrated refugee music program. She was a regular guest teacher in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Taiwan, and brought students to Suzuki World Conventions in Australia and Japan.
